How to Install Your Engraved Wall Decal – Perfect Results Every Time

Pre-Installation Prep

1️⃣ Clean the Wall

• Wipe the surface with mild soapy water, then dry completely.

• Use rubbing alcohol to remove dust/oil (especially for glossy paints).

2️⃣ Test Placement

• Hold the decal against the wall to check positioning.

• Use painter’s tape to mark edges or create a level guide.

Installation Steps

3️⃣ Peel & Stick (Adhesive Decals)

• Gently peel the backing paper to expose the adhesive.

• Align the decal with your guide and press the top edge first.

4️⃣ Smooth It Out

• Use a squeegee or credit card to flatten the decal from center to edges.

• Push out air bubbles toward the nearest edge.

5️⃣ Remove Transfer Tape

• Slowly peel the transfer tape at a 180° angle.

• If parts lift, press down and peel again.

For Static Cling Wall Decals

• Skip adhesive steps—simply press onto smooth surfaces (tiles, glass cabinets).

• Reposition freely until satisfied.
